01What Lana is
Lana is a block-level social concierge for moms — tell her once, she keeps looking.
Lana is a private, phone-verified network for moms, built around the seven moms within walking distance of you. You tell her what you need — a Saturday coffee, a pass-along stroller, a Sunday-service neighbor — and she remembers, watches your block, and proposes one mom at a time. Nickname-default identity, anti-discrimination architecture, no ads, no resale.
Lana is the local layer of motherhood. WhatsApp groups, Nextdoor feeds, and Marketplace listings don't see the block-level relationship — the seven moms within a five-minute walk who would already be at the same Wednesday coffee. Lana does.
The product is a private, phone-verified network for moms. Identity is nickname-default — your real name is never shown until you and another mom both check in at the same event in real life. Identity dimensions (heritage, faith, language, lifestyle) are opt-in and used only to find your block, never to filter you out of one. When a mom narrows her event, the app simply doesn't show it to people outside that group; we never tell anyone they were filtered out. Silence, not rejection.
Lana launches in Lake Nona East, Florida on June 15, 2026, and opens block by block as moms join. Built by Phygtl, Inc., based in San Francisco.
